Our Recommended Resources

At Two Rivers Pet Hospital, we understand how stressful it can be to find reputable veterinary resources about pet care. That’s why we have taken the time to gather together resources we trust for your convenience. You can view these resources below!

Our Hospital Policies

Two Rivers Pet Hospital is committed to providing the best possible care for your pets, in order to do so we have implemented the following hospital policies:

Our office hours are by appointment. We are open Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Leashes and carriers:
For your pet’s safety, all dogs visiting the clinic must be on leashes and all cats must be in carriers or harnessed. If you need to borrow a leash or a carrier, please ask us. Convenient cardboard carriers are available at the reception desk. We are located on a busy street and do not want any pets escaping and potentially being in a high risk or harmful situation. If your pet may have a contagious disease (ie. kennel cough, parvovirus, etc.) you may be asked to hold your pet in your vehicle until we are able to place you in an examination room to avoid contamination of the waiting room and exposure to other pets.

Children:
It is often exciting for children to come to clinics and be able to see other animals and medical treatments for their pets. However, we do ask that you have your children ask permission prior to approaching other client’s pets, as not all pets are friendly with strangers.

Payment Options:
All charges are due at the time services are rendered. We do accept Cash, Visa / Mastercard / Discover / American Express, Debit Cards and CareCredit. We do not accept checks or set up payment arrangements. Thank you for understanding.

For more information about CareCredit or to apply please visit their website www.carecredit.com or call CareCredit at 800-365-8295.

Appointments:
We strive to keep a schedule that allows us to provide you and your pet adequate individual time with our doctors and staff. Your set appointment time is reserved especially for you, thus it is imperative that patients arrive to their appointments on time.

Please do not forget to notify our office if your address or telephone number has changed. As a courtesy, we send post-card reminders the month before your pet’s annual examination is due. We also provide reminder calls the day before scheduled appointments.

Late Appointments:
Two Rivers Pet Hospital makes every effort to maintain a schedule that allows individual time with each owner and pet. Appointments are set to reserve this time, making it critical that you arrive to your appointment on time. Late appointments may be asked to reschedule if the veterinarian’s schedule cannot accommodate. If you elect to wait, please understand that wait time may be unpredictable and that priority is given to those patients that arrive on time.

Cancellations/ No show:
If for any reason you need to cancel an appointment, please notify our office as a soon as possible. We ask that you give 24-hours notice so that another pet in need of medical attention can be seen. If you fail to show for an appointment, or cancel with less than a 24-hour notice, you will be charged cancellation fee. This fee will be added to your account and is expected to be paid in full at the time of your next office visit. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment after hours or on a weekend please leave a message on the clinic’s voicemail or email us at support@tworiverspethospital.com.

Our fee for an appointment missed or not cancelled is $25.00. The fee for surgical procedures missed or not cancelled is $75.00.

We will call the day before your appointment as a courtesy reminder of your appointment day and time and any surgical requirements.

*Please note that multiple no-show occurrences may result in non-refundable prepaid appointments only or discharge from our practice.

Emergencies:
Please note that Two Rivers Pet Hospital does see emergencies during business hours and may need to adjust appointments or wait times as needed. We ask for your cooperation during emergencies, understanding that critically deemed patients may take priority. We want to assure you that if your pet is critically ill, his/her care will come first as well. Two Rivers Pet Hospital is not a 24-hour hospital and does not have an overnight shift providing 24-hour medical coverage. There will be times we may have to refer patients to local 24-hour facilities. When the office is closed, our answering machine message leaves the name and number of local emergency clinics in the area.

We appreciate your decision to trust us with your family’s pet health care needs. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to do our very best by you and all of our clients.
